Designated Position: Secondary School Teacher

Require: Applicants need to have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mathematics/Education and Twenty four months of experience in teaching.

Other Requirements/License and Certification:  Possess a valid State of Georgia Teaching Certificate.

Duties: Responsible for providing a rigorous high-quality education in a challenging range of classroom conditions from diverse ethnic, financial, and academic backgrounds. Teach courses pertaining to mathematical concepts, arithmetic, algebra, and geometry and apply original and standardized techniques in solving specific problems and situations. Discrete mathematics to incorporate practical examples of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) applications to enrich instructions and teaching practices. Identifying the educational needs of students, developing formal educational or training programs or classes, and teaching or instructing students. Compile, administer and grade examinations. Prepare course materials such as syllabus, homework assignments, and handouts. Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions. Maintain student attendance records, grades, and other required records. Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and course materials and methods of instruction. Use computer literacy skills, software developments, and technological advances in the mathematical field. Enforce all administration policies and rules governing students.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary: $47,520/Yr.
